Marketing Intern (In-House Role) - E-Commerce and Operations

Our Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Marketing Intern to support our marketing and brand operations team. This internship provides hands-on experience in e-commerce management, brand merchandising, inventory coordination, and process documentation while working across multiple company brands and platforms.
Essential Functions
Brand Shop Management
- Support SKU setup, organization, and ongoing inventory management for the current Maxxon Brand Shop.
- Assist with maintaining products, inventory accuracy, and overall shop functionality.
- Help ensure all branded merchandise aligns with company brand standards and guidelines.
Brand Shop Development
- Assist in building and launching a new Brand Shop on the WooCommerce platform to support one of our product lines, BoldStep.
- Support:
- SKU creation and organization
- Inventory tracking and management
- Product uploads and categorization
- Brand guideline implementation across all storefront assets
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure accurate and timely product updates.
Pop-Up Shop Coordination
- Support the creation and management of a seasonal pop-up shop program for internal customers through a new vendor partnership.
- Assist with seasonal product planning, merchandising coordination, and inventory availability.
Marketing Room Organization
- Organize and maintain the current marketing storage room and merchandise inventory.
- Sort, label, and track promotional items, branded merchandise, and event materials.
- Assist in creating inventory organization systems to improve efficiency and accessibility.
Process Documentation
- Create and maintain process documentation for all e-commerce and brand shop platforms.
- Document workflows, ordering procedures, inventory processes, and platform management guidelines to support long-term operational efficiency.
- Assist with packaging and shipping responsibilities when the current shipping team is out of office.
- Help coordinate outgoing marketing materials, merchandise orders, and event shipments as needed.
- Support inventory preparation and shipment tracking to ensure timely delivery.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Interest in branding, e-commerce, and merchandising.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with WooCommerce or other e-commerce platforms is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
